This module includes a range of videos demonstrating newborn examination and various emergency equipment which may need to be used.

Course Content

1. Understand the physiological changes that occur during and shortly after birth;
2. Be able to prepare to effectively initiate neonatal resuscitation;
3. Identify the skills required to perform effective neonatal resuscitation and recognise the importance of effective communication and teamwork;
4. Develop an understanding of other considerations involved in neonatal resuscitation.
