Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is the optimal form of nutrition for neonates, infants and young children and is the biological expectation for human babies. All midwives and Child Health Nurses are expected to maintain their skills in educating mothers and the wider community on the benefits of breastfeeding while supporting women to achieve their breastfeeding goals.
