Course Information

By completing this bundle you will achieve the minimum mandatory training requirements for midwives through evidence-based learning resources compliant with NMBA midwifery standards for practice. The courses are all endorsed by the Australian College of Midwives.

Course Content

This mandatory bundle provides 7.5 hours of online learning. This bundle meets basic mandatory education requirements for midwives, to refresh knowledge on:
- Neonatal Resuscitation
- Safe Sleeping
- Breastfeeding
- Neuraxial Blockade for birth
Each course requires completion of a short quiz to demonstrate your understanding of the topic. You will be sent a certificate via your registered email address on completion.
The subject matter in these online course offerings is in depth and provides contemporary midwifery skills training, utilising best available evidence. This learning is created with the emphasis on women centred, culturally safe care.
Please note; you may also need to complete courses from the Maternity Emergencies bundle if particular sites request evidence of current certification.
