PALS Course Terms & Conditions

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are eligible to attend the PALS Course at Affinity will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Work in ED, MPS, PHC
  • Have not completed PALS
  • Are looking to secure a role where PALS certification is required.

    Candidates must:
  • be on contract at time of course, or
  • have a future contract secured and accepted, or
  • are highly likely to secure a contract with PALS certification

Affinity provided courses are part of the Clinical Education Benefits Program, therefore a full refund of the PALS course booking fee will only be processed if a candidate has not received reimbursement under this program for any other external course in the preceding 12 months.

If Clinical Education Benefits Program reimbursements have been received within the preceding 12 months of the course date, course booking fee will not be refunded and will be accepted as course attendance fee.

Candidate may not be eligible for refund of booking fee if future contract is cancelled with no suitable future contract secured. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Candidates will be charged $500 booking fee to secure all bookings.
  • The $500 booking fee will be fully refunded upon attendance and successful completion of the assessment and where all Eligibility Criteria can be satisfied.
  • Candidates will be eligible to cancel their training and receive a full refund of their booking fee if cancellations are made in writing (info@affinityclinicaled.com.au) within 7 days of the date of the intended courses.
  • Cancellations made with 7-3 days’ notice will be eligible for a 50% refund
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the course will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If a candidate fails to attend a course without notice, no refund will be payable.
