Candidates who are eligible to be reimbursed after attending the ALS Course at Affinity will need to meet the following criteria:

• Work in ED, MPS, PHC
• Are working in or looking to secure a role where ALS certification is required.
  
  Candidates must:
• be on contract at time of course, or
• have a future contract secured and accepted, or
• are highly likely to secure a contract with ALS certification.

Affinity provided courses are part of the Clinical Education Benefits Program, therefore a full refund of the ALS course booking fee will only be processed if a candidate has not received reimbursement under this program for any other external course in the preceding 12 months.

A maximum of $500 will be reimbursed as per the Clinical Education benefits program.

If Clinical Education Benefits Program reimbursements have been received within the preceding 12 months of the course date, course booking fee will not be refunded and will be accepted as course attendance fee.

Candidate may not be eligible for refund of booking fee if future contract is cancelled with no suitable future contract secured. 

The candidate must complete the course successfully to be eligible for reimbursement. 

Reimbursement of booking fee will be processed within 48hours of successful course completion if currently on contract with Affinity nursing, or once a contract has been commenced with Affinity Nursing (please email info@affinityclinicaled.com.au on commencement for this to be processed). 

• Candidates will be charged $500 booking fee to secure all bookings.
• The $500 booking fee will be fully refunded upon attendance and successful completion of the assessment and where all Eligibility Criteria can be satisfied.
• Candidates will be eligible to cancel their training and receive a full refund of their booking fee if cancellations are made in writing (info@affinityclinicaled.com.au) within 7 days of the date of the intended courses.
• Cancellations made with 7-3 days’ notice will be eligible for a 50% refund
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the course will not be eligible for a refund.
• If a candidate fails to attend a course without notice, no refund will be payable.
• Affinity Clinical Education may be required to cancel the course due to insufficient numbers. If this is to occur candidates will be notified by email and SMS7 days prior to commencement of course. A full refund of the course fee will be provided.
